We’ve enhanced the core survival experience with backpacks, bigger stacks, Many WoL updates, better tools, custom weapons, fishing, farming expansions, and a growing RPG/Skilltree leveling system. Sleeping restores health, inventory is currently kept on death, and many small frustrations have been removed so players can focus on building, exploring, and progressing. PvP is now enabled in zone 2 3 and 4. The server is actively balanced and evolving, with new features, NPCs, and progression rewards being added over time.

This project is being built as a high-stakes PvPvE dungeon crawler experience inspired by games like Dark and Darker, but adapted for a long-term multiplayer environment. Our focus is on tension, risk, and meaningful progression + player interaction rather than rushed content or shallow systems. Development will be intentionally slow and deliberate. We are prioritizing strong foundations like combat rules, classes, items, dungeon flow, and party systems before expanding outward. Quality and cohesion matter more to us than speed. We will be able to provide a more accurate timeline once Hytale launches on the 13th and we get our hands on the game.

Light roleplay is encouraged as optional flavor, but this is not a roleplay server. Participation is entirely up to the player. The server is clearly moderated with zero tolerance for racism, harassment, or griefing, while still allowing second chances for minor mistakes. PvP is disabled by default and only permitted by mutual consent. All ages are welcome, though we aim to foster an adult-leaning, mature atmosphere where players are in it for the long haul and genuinely enjoy building something together.

At our server, you’ll find a family-friendly Hytale community with a strong focus on respect and togetherness. We take our time developing the server and continuously release new game modes and servers. Whether you play for relaxation or adventure, you’re always welcome with us.

HyBuild is a simple survival and building server with an open world. We don’t focus too much on fancy features, we want to keep things simple.
