After many requests from the community, we've finally added player reviews and ratings to the site. You know your favorite servers better than anyone, now you can tell others about them.

Why Reviews Matter

Vote counts only tell you which servers get the most daily votes. They don't reveal much about actual gameplay quality, community vibe, or whether a server is right for your playstyle.

That's where reviews come in. A quick 5-star rating or detailed write-up from someone who's actually played there gives you way more context than raw numbers ever could.

Leaving a Review

1. Visit any server page
2. Click the Vote & Review button
3. Enter your Hytale username
4. Give a star rating (1-5 stars)
5. Write your thoughts
6. Hit submit and it's live instantly

No approval process, no waiting. Your voice is heard immediately.

What to Write About

The best reviews mention specific details:

• How long you've played there (2 weeks? 6 months?)
• Game modes you tried and what stood out
• Staff interactions: were they helpful? Absent? Overly strict?
• Server stability (lag? crashes? smooth?)
• Community atmosphere (friendly? toxic? in-between?)
• Unique features that made it memorable
• Would you recommend it? Why or why not?

Be honest. Constructive criticism helps server owners improve and helps players make informed choices.

The Rating System

5 Stars - Outstanding. You'd recommend this to anyone.
4 Stars - Really solid with a few minor quirks.
3 Stars - Decent but nothing special.
2 Stars - Some issues that bothered you.
1 Star - Major problems or not worth your time.

The overall rating you see on listings is the average of all player reviews. Pretty straightforward.

Review Rules

Keep it real and relevant:

Reviews should:

• Be based on actual playtime
• Focus on the server being reviewed
• Follow basic community guidelines
• Be in English (other languages acceptable if relevant to the server)

Reviews can't:

• Spam or advertise competing servers
• Include hate speech or personal attacks
• Come from server owners reviewing themselves
• Be fake or bought

We moderate actively. Rule-breaking reviews get removed.
