Originally a Minecraft powerhouse in 2020 with 100,000+ unique players, we relaunched for Hytale in early 2026 and have held the top spot since — by activity, playtime, player count, and community size. # Elysium — Hytale MMORPG Server Elysium is a custom MMORPG server built specifically for Hytale. Most gameplay systems, interfaces and abilities were developed in-house instead of being assembled from a large modpack. The fixed server build uses only four third-party additions. Character progression, combat, classes, economy, PvP, guilds, cities, missions, crafting and the item system are developed by our team. ## Character Progression - Character levels up to level 50. - Independent mastery for each weapon family. - Six attributes: Fortitude, Strength, Intelligence, Precision, Inspiration and Dexterity. - Radial skill tree divided into Tank, Melee, Ranged and Support paths. - Elemental and combat affinities that affect build specialization. - Separate progression for gathering, refining, crafting and repair. - Changing weapons requires developing the corresponding mastery instead of automatically carrying progress between playstyles. ## Classes and Original Abilities Choose between six currently available classes: - Warrior - Warden - Assassin - Sorcerer - Archer - Cleric Each class has its own signature ability, while additional abilities are unlocked through character level, attributes and weapon mastery. Skills can be assigned to Q, E and R through the custom Skill Hub. The server includes original abilities with custom animations, particles, sounds, projectiles, channels and combat effects. Bard is currently under development. ## PvE, Mobs and World Content - Mobs with levels, scaling health, armor and damage. - Elite variants with stronger stats and better rewards. - Custom creatures integrated into the MMO progression. - Controlled spawn areas, respawn timers and roaming limits. - Custom loot tables, creature drops and treasure chests. - Cities, safe areas, named regions and world-map markers. - City discovery, travel, personal spawn-city selection and mayor services. - Tutorial missions covering combat, gathering, refining, crafting, repair, economy, storage and guilds. - Custom dungeons and additional world content being expanded throughout the beta. - Multi-phase world bosses, including the Frost Dragon, coming soon. ## Equipment and Item Progression - Six active equipment tiers during the beta, from T0 to T5, with higher tiers planned. - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary rarities. - Unique and Prisma equipment for endgame progression. - Randomized stat ranges, meaning two copies of the same item can have different rolls. - Weapon and armor affixes. - Armor that can provide additional character attributes. - Durability loss, broken equipment, repair and salvage. - Family-based forging that lets players choose what type of weapon to produce. - Rune slots, rune extraction and a ticket-based rune roulette. - Essences and special crafting materials. - Mining, woodcutting, skinning, cotton harvesting and material refining. - Seven custom Prisma weapon families with their own visuals and effects. ## Player-Driven Economy - Physical coins that can be deposited in the bank. - Player wallets and transaction history. - NPC shops with custom interfaces. - Player marketplace with search, sorting, partial purchases and listing management. - Buy orders and item quantities. - Mailbox delivery when the buyer's inventory is full. - Direct player-to-player trading with item and coin escrow. - Confirmation and countdown protection against trade scams. - Kill rewards and level-scaled bounties. - Repairers, gatherers and crafters provide services other players actually need. ## PvP With Rules and Consequences - PvP zones with different risk levels. - Safe cities where player damage is disabled. - PvP stance and combat-color system. - Karma and persistent outlaw status. - Restrictions for outlaws, including blocked trading. - Item-loss rules based on zone and item protection. - Combat tagging and safe-logout timers. - Combat-log bodies and item recovery. - Downed, bleed-out, finishing and player-revive mechanics. - Friendly fire protection for parties and guilds. ## Guilds, Parties and Social Features - Guild creation, invitations, ranks, promotions, leadership transfer and guild tags. - Parties with shared experience and bonuses for nearby members. - Party HUD with member status. - Guild and party chat channels. - Persistent ignore lists and chat preferences. - Custom player nameplates showing level, guild and PvP status. - Personal persistent home dimensions accessed through the Grimoire of Homecoming. - Personal Ender Chests. - Training dummies with a built-in DPS meter. - Player reports, mute, kick and ban moderation systems. ## Open Beta Notice Elysium is currently in open beta. Features, progression rates, balance and world content are still being tested and may change. Bugs, incomplete areas and occasional progression resets may happen during development.
